About Mingora, River Swat
Located on the banks of River Swat, Mingora is about 2 kilometers from Saidu Sharif. It is the largest city in Swat District in Khyber-Paktunkhwa province of Pakistan. The city is said to have been described by Queen Elizabeth as the Switzerland of the former Empire. Tourism in the city is on a rise again after emerging from a tough period under Taliban rule.
