The third Karachi Eat festival was held at the Frere Hall, Saddar and was a three day event that started on 22nd and ended on 24th of January ’16. There were close to 100 food stalls with delectable food items be it sweet or savory. These stalls were put up by local well-known bistros, bakeries and home based chefs.

Other activities included face painting, shirt printing, photo booths and a stage for open mic night. One of the famous radio channels, City FM 89, also had their own booth where they conducted a live show which was on air.

The turnout was massive and all the three days went packed with visitors from all over the city. It was a family only event with tickets costing 250 PKR per entry. The festival was definitely a huge hit and if we keep having such entertainment events, people would love to visit Karachi .
